Terms of Service
Use Home Happenings to find, message and book independent providers for listed activities. Keep information accurate, treat others respectfully and keep bookings and payments on the platform. Do not share contact details in messages. Households pay the displayed visit price plus a $2.50 booking fee and a 10% service fee on each visit, paid when booking. Refunds follow our cancellation policy: free up to 3 days before.
If something goes wrong
- Pros are independent professionals. Each pro is responsible for their own work and conduct during a visit.
- Home Happenings checks and vets every pro before they're published, handles payments, and helps resolve problems when they come up.
- To report an issue, email contact@homehappenings.com or call (973) 555-0100. Tell us the visit date, the pro's name and what happened. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 first.
- Refunds follow our cancellation policy and our review of what happened.
Insurance: every visit booked through Home Happenings is covered by our general liability policy, on top of any coverage the pro carries. It covers injury or property damage caused during a booked visit. It doesn't cover medical treatment, items that aren't part of the lesson, or anything that happens outside a booked visit. Providers must separately accept the Provider Agreement. These draft terms are not final or binding. Account rights, platform policies, dispute procedures and mandatory consumer protections require legal review before launch.
